Can you play anything I request for my event?
Of course! We are happy to perform any song as a part of our fee. There may be songs that don’t translate well to a purely instrumental setting - in those cases, we will discuss with you options for how to best incorporate that song - or find alternatives that would work better. But, as long as it translates well, we are happy to learn it!
what instruments would be booked?
Our minimum booking is 4 pieces, consisting of drum set (or snare drum if the group is mobile), tuba/sousaphone, trumpet, and sax or trombone. For the full experience, we recommend booking a 5 piece group (if stationary) or 6 piece group (if mobile) consisting of 1 or 2 drummers (depending on if stationary or mobile), tuba/sousaphone, trumpet, sax, and trombone. We can definitely book larger groups for more of an impact.
Do you travel?
Absolutely - we will travel anywhere in the country. Quotes for travel jobs will incur additional costs and time, but we are happy to go anywhere in the country!
Does your rate exclude anything?
Our rates are all-inclusive. Since the experience is customized for you, it will include everything you request.
How far in advance do I need to book?
As far as possible. Because we customize everything for you, the longer we have to plan, the better your experience will be. For full customization, we require all repertoire requests to be in no later than 3 months in advance - bookings in shorter times than that will be subject to limits on repertoire requests outside our normal song list.
